Rhedyn Guest House was built in the 1800s and it provides bed and breakfast accommodation located just outside the village of Cilmery which is close to Builth Wells in the county of Powys. The guest house offers modern facilities and a warm and friendly welcome.
There are 3 double guest bedrooms available All rooms have en suite bathrooms, 2 with large showers and 1 with a luxurious, deep bath. We have enjoyed modernising them without losing the character of the original 1840s forester's cottage.
All of the rooms have a flat screen TV with built in DVD player, hairdryer, alarm clock, tea/coffee making facilities, carafe of sherry, spring water, fridge and fresh milk.
Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9.30. Ciaran works hard in the garden to grow vegetables for the table. We get our eggs from Jenni in Llanfaredd and our meat from Mr. Morgan, our local butcher. Most of the other produce we find throughout our local area. Then the fun starts. Muiread loves cooking, and turns all of this lovely food into sumptuous meals for you.
Whether you want to spend your time walking, cycling, fishing, golfing, painting the beautiful scenery or enjoying the unspoilt Cambrian Mountains or Brecon Beacons, we are in the perfect spot. Leave your car behind and enjoy our wild and wonderful countryside by electric car or e-bike. Stay with us for a few days, or even longer, you'll love it here.
