Gors-yr-Eira Country Guest House offers guest accommodation situated just outside of Bangor in Mynydd-Llandygai, Gwynedd. Our guest house is on the edge of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park in North Wales. Although 'away from it all', we are only 2 miles away from the A55 North Wales Expressway and 1½ miles from the A5 trunk road.
We are a homely base for those who want to explore the beautiful mountains, beaches & castles of Snowdonia. The views from the house are quite superb, taking in the whole panorama of the Carneddau Mountain range from the front and Glyders from the back.
The comfortable guest lounge and separate dining room has TV. The guest bedrooms are centrally heated and provided with tea and coffee making facilities. The guest house has ample private parking.
Our bed and breakfast uses organic food in preparation of traditional recipes from North Wales. Meals are prepared to please and where possible organically, home produced eggs, bacon, beef, lamb and vegetables are used. Packed lunches can be provided.

Situated on the very edge of the Snowdonia National Park, the area is ideal for the outdoor enthusiast who wants to take advantage of the opportunities of the area has to offer; mountain walking, rock climbing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, pony trekking etc. If you are on a driving holiday, the village is well situated for exploring the valleys, historical towns and castles and the beautiful beaches of North Wales. The locality lends itself to gentle walks and quiet relaxation.
The nearby towns of Bethesda and Bangor have good shopping facilities, garage services, restaurants and pubs. We are also close to Europe's largest zip wire.
