Polly’s Room: A serene and stylish space featuring a bath and digital power shower in the ensuite, a supremely comfortable extra-long King-size bed and access to the magnificent triple-aspect Drawing Room with views of the courtyard, wilderness and millpond.
Green Room / Family Suite: A luxurious suite with an extra-long Super King bed, a shower room and a sitting room, offering stunning views over the terrace and millpond. Combined with The Blue Room, it creates a spacious Family Suite for up to four guests.
The Blue Room: This room offers lovely millpond views, modern and country pine furniture, ample storage and twin beds dressed in our signature cotton duvet covers and down pillows.
The Studio: Our latest addition, a cosy self-contained studio in the converted stable, perfect for a weekend retreat or a week-long work stay, featuring a luxurious king-size bed, desk space and a private deck overlooking Nunney Brook.
Breakfast at Penny’s Mill is a communal affair, served at a large table in the conservatory adjacent to the terrace overlooking Nunney Brook. Our menu ranges from the classic full English breakfast to lighter options, including fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, muesli and cereals. Enjoy unlimited fresh, real coffee, a variety of teas and home-baked Granary and Sourdough loaves. Rosie's homemade jams and marmalade, made with garden-fresh fruit whenever possible, add a personal touch to your morning.
Penny’s Mill is ideally located for exploring the West Country. The nearby town of Frome boasts unique independent shops and numerous historical buildings, while the Frome Festival draws artists and performers from around the globe. Bath and Stonehenge are just a half-hour drive away and we're near several National Trust properties, major public schools and the luxury of Babington House and the Cowshed, making it a strategic spot for weekend visits or a longer holiday.
