West Somerset offers a good balance between the unspoilt, quiet countryside, whilst still providing plenty to see and do - whatever the weather! It would be impossible to list everything and cater to all tastes, but we hope the following will prove helpful in planning your stay with us.
For those wanting to get away from it all, the Quantock Hills and Exmoor offer wonderful walking country - both gentle strolls and arduous hikes. The Coleridge Way, a recently launched 36 mile trail from Nether Stowey to Porlock, passes about 2 miles north. Further information can be found at Quantock online, Exmooronline and Go4awalk.
If you have a mountain bike, both areas offer superb tracks at all levels and is an ideal way to explore the miles of country lanes in the area.
