The Lighthouse in Tytherington offers 4-star guest house accommodation in a glorious 17th Century Grade II Listed farmhouse, nestled in 30 acres of stunning parkland. Based near Frome in a scenic area of Somerset, we boast a range of fabulous facilities, including a Kid's Adventure Playground, south-facing Japanese Garden, wildlife pond, fishing lake and woodland walks, plus the award-winning Cafe Nouveau.
We have an array of beautifully furnished bedrooms to choose from. All our rooms have en suite facilities, live stream flat-screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities, eco-friendly toiletries, free Wi-Fi, fans and heating. Irons and ironing boards are available on request. We have a few dog friendly rooms, which can be reserved by prior arrangement so please contact us before booking your room so at to ensure availability.
The Cafe Nouveau is open daily and provides our guests with a very hearty and healthy breakfast, including a traditional English-cooked breakfast. A hot vegetarian breakfast option is available to order. The Breakfast Buffet offers a range of toast, cereals, preserves, dried fruits, nuts and fresh fruit. Situated in the hamlet of Tytherington near the historic market town of Frome and a range of popular attractions, we are 10 minutes by car to Longleat Safari Park, 20 minutes to the impressive 'Stour Head’ National Trust property, half an hour to the historic city of Bath and 25 minutes to the heights of Cheddar Gorge.
