Down Farm offers comfortable bed & breakfast accommodation in a 600-year-old Devon farmhouse near Kingsbridge, Devon which overlooks Lannacombe Bay and is situated at the spectacular Start Point; the most southerly headland in South Devon. Kingsbridge and Dartmouth are the nearest towns. Kingsbridge, about 8 miles away, is a delightful place with many shops, banks, cafes and restaurants, a sports centre with a swimming pool, and a supermarket. Dartmouth is about ten miles away and overlooks a spectacular deep water estuary. There are some lovely estuary boat trips from both Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. The area offers a host of wonderful beaches and sandy coves all within minutes of the farm. The Southwest coast path runs around the edge of the farm and offers stunning views, excellent walking and a wide variety of birds and wildlife too.
