Fluxton Farm is a 16th Century Longhouse situated in Fluxton in the beautiful Otter Valley just south of the country town of Ottery St Mary in Devon.
Occupying a sheltered position, our bed and breakfast accommodation looks across fields to splendid tree capped hills on the other side of the valley. Most of the rooms have views across the valley. We are no longer a working farm but we keep ducks & chickens and have a lot of cats, most of which were CPL Rescues.
We have 7 en suite bedrooms, all tastefully furnished and retaining period features. 1 of the doubles is very spacious, offering the perfect space for a comfortable and relaxing night’s sleep. All have tea and coffee making facilities and TV’s.
There are two charming sitting rooms, both of which have TV’s. Our beamed dining room has a large open fire and separate tables. We offer a full English breakfast using our own free range eggs.
The guest house stands in large, pretty, peaceful lawned gardens giving a tranquil atmosphere. A small clear trout stream flows through the garden which has its own pond. This corner of Devon is a place where life really does move slowly and it is possible to unwind completely.
The guest house is well set back from an easily navigable country road and there is a large car park. Despite our peace and seclusion, there are many places of interest within easy reach including several National Trust properties and Fluxton is an ideal touring and walking centre.
