The Southbank Townhouse offers fabulous guest house accommodation in the fabulous seaside of town of Torquay. We are based in a central location and just a short walk to The Torre Abbey and The Princess Theatre. Further afield you can visit lots of brilliant attractions in Devon.
Our family-run guest house dates from 1850 and now offers high-quality accommodation to suit all your needs. In total, we have 12 en suite rooms to choose from, will all enjoy an individual style. Several of the rooms have dressing rooms or lounges, plus large bedrooms and modern shower rooms.
You can choose from 1 single, 1 twin, 2 doubles, 5 kings, two superior kings and 1 junior suite. All the rooms boast a range of excellent facilities:

You can start your day with a wonderful continental or full English breakfast. Our bacon and sausages are locally sourced and the Cumberland sausages are made from the local butcher.
We have an elegant library to unwind in with a cup of coffee after a day sightseeing. You can also enjoy a drink or two from our fully licensed bar, served in the dining room. In the summer months, enjoy a tipple on the outside terrace, the perfect sun trp.
Torquay is a gorgeous coastal town to visit, home to a picturesque harbour, sandy beach, brilliant restaurants and excellent pubs. You can enjoy a fascinating day out at Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves or enjoy a stroll along the clifftops and admire the views. Further attractions to visit include:
