The Poplars Hotel offers wonderful guest house accommodation in Combe Martin, just 200 yards from the beach. Nestled in a stunning location, we boast spectacular sea and countryside views from the rear balcony rooms. We are also in a great position for visiting a range of excellent attractions in Devon.
Our gorgeous Victorian property was originally built in the late 1800s and now offers fabulous accommodation to suit all your needs. We have 5 elegant rooms available, including 4 doubles and 1 king. All the rooms include modern en suite facilities and some rooms come with a delightful balcony to unwind on whilst savouring the amazing views. On the ground floor, there is a reception area and a breakfast/dining area. We also have a cosy lounge to unwind in and a licensed bar, great for a drinking or two after a day sightseeing. A pool room with a pool table and book exchange library for guests are also available. You can take a dip in our swimming pool which has lovely countryside views across to Combe Martin Bay.
Combe Martin has a wide variety of local gift shops, restaurants and pubs that are worth a visit during your stay. Travel a little further afield and enjoy a walk along the South West Coastal Path that runs past the tip of Exmoor. The location is ideal for walkers, ramblers, artists, photographers and all wildlife enthusiasts. Further attractions to visit include:
