Barnbridge B & B is a 200-year-old property that offers bed and breakfast accommodation within a self-contained flat. The B&B is located in a secluded and peaceful setting within the Wiltshire hamlet of East Tytherton. This is a beautiful area and close to the town of Chippenham.
Our B & B accommodation consists of a self-contained flat, which has one twin bedroom, one double bedroom and a single, with a bathroom which is for the sole use of guests. There is another cloakroom with shower downstairs which is also available. The twin bedroom also has a put-u-up bed which is suitable as a bed for a child if necessary. All the bedrooms have televisions and downstairs there is a large lounge with French windows leading out to the patio and garden, where guests may relax when they have had enough sightseeing!
Barnbridge has its own tennis court and heated swimming pool which is open for about six months of the year. This has a removable dome which ensures the pool is kept warm during the colder months.
East Tytherton is about 4 miles from Chippenham and 10 minutes from junction 17 of the M4. There are 2 excellent pubs nearby, The Langley Tap at Langley Burrell (4 minutes by car) and the Foxham Inn at Foxham (6 minutes by car). Both serve excellent food at very reasonable prices.
There are a number of interesting sights nearby such as;
Avebury.
Marlborough.
Devizes.
The fantastic cities of Bath and Bristol are both within easy reach.
