The Conigre is a 17th Century Grade II listed former farmhouse and is a small family-run hotel full of rustic charm and character. It is just a short stroll to the pubs, restaurants and other local amenities in the bustling market town of Melksham. It has 8 individually styled en-suite guest rooms.

Melksham is a historic market town and thriving business centre in the heart of Wiltshire, perfectly situated for exploring the Georgian City of Bath, the National Trust Village of Lacock and the numerous other National Trust properties on our doorstep, as well as cycling or walking the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal and visiting the fascinating Caen Hill fight of locks. The World Heritage sites of Stonehenge and Avebury, Longleat, Castle Combe and Salisbury are all easily accessible. We are 15 minutes from Junction 17 of the M4 (Chippenham), providing excellent access to Swindon and Bristol. Melksham also has a train station. Close by are the local business centres of Trowbridge, Chippenham, Corsham and Devizes.
