The Railway Tavern has been in the same family for four decades and is now run by Tom and Jan Dooner. The pub's friendly, family atmosphere attracts an eclectic mix of customers.
The hotel has nine rooms, all of which are en-suite, comprising three doubles and six twins. Staff are on duty at the hotel around the clock, providing a full breakfast, lunch and dinner service in our Conservatory Restaurant, which is situated on the ground floor Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk of the hotel itself.
All rooms are of modern, en suite design with the usual tea and coffee making facilities. The price includes a full English home cooked breakfast and car parking space allocated on a one space per room basis.
The Railway Tavern Hotel prides itself on providing good, nutritious, home cooked food in the traditional East End fashion. All of the ingredients used in the restaurant are sourced locally on a daily basis.
Ideally situated for shopping in Westfield Stratford and 15 minutes by tube to central London and the Excel exhibition centre in the Docklands. 100 yards from Stratford’s own Theatre Royal and a 4 screen cinema and Stratford Circus all situated within Theatre Square. The area is very well connected by public transport with over 10 lines coming into Stratford Stations and bus connection to the city and direct coach links to Stansted Airport (45minutes).
