The Barn offers wonderful B&B accommodation in a tastefully converted 19th Century barn in Hildenborough, midway between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge on the B245 with spectacular views of Kentish Weald.
Our superb guesthouse consists or 3 comfortable and cosy suites, 1 twin and 2 doubles, making us an ideal holiday destination.
Choose from the following rooms :
Room 1 - the upstairs room - Originally a 30 foot by 12 foot hayloft this entire first floor has now been converted into a beautiful queen size bedroom (double or twin) with en suite shower room plus an additional sitting room with TV sofa bed and tea/coffee making facilities.
Room 2 - the twin room - This lovely twin bedroom was originally a store for carts and their various accessories. Latterly it is believed to have been used by a local cricket ball manufacturer of which there were many in the Hildenborough and Leigh area at the time. It is now a superb twin bedded room complete with en suite shower room and a separate fifteen foot by seven foot conservatory with sofa bed, TV, plus tea/coffee making facilities as well as lovely views of the local countryside.
Room 3 - the double room - This was originally used for stabling horses and had a cobbled floor and a hatch into the loft for access to hay and feedstuffs. The cobbles are now replaced with a beautiful American Oak Amtico floor. This room also has its own en suite shower room plus a conservatory complete with sofa-bed, TV and tea/coffee making facilities and again lovely views of the local countryside.
A full English breakfast is served between 8.00am and 8.45 am and includes a selection of cereals, fruit juices, fresh fruit, yogurts, home made preserves, white or wholemeal toast, croissants and fresh tea or coffee.
The location is perfect for sightseeing being a few minutes from the M25 and close to Knole Park, Hever Castle, Tonbridge Castle, Penshurst and Chartwell.
