Meerut is situated in the centre of Brockenhurst, a unique village with a watersplash running across the main street. Our Hampshire detached guest house is set in a large, natural garden at the far end of a quiet cul-de-sac, just two minutes walk from local shops and a five minute stroll from the open New Forest.
The New Forest ponies, cattle and donkeys frequently roam around the village streets, even wandering up to our gate. There is plenty of car parking and all three guest rooms have their own entrances.
Our guest accommodation is comfortably furnished with quality beds, pine furniture with plenty of storage space, free wi-fi, colour televisions with freeview and individual thermostatically controlled radiators. The shower rooms and bathroom are equipped with heated towel rails and shaver light/points. Also for guests' use is a utility room accessible from the patio, with a fridge/freezer, microwave with grill, iron/ironing board, cutlery/crockery and wine glasses.
Breakfast is served on individually laid tables in our large dining room. There is a buffet table with a selection of cereals, fruit juices, yoghurts and fruit. Guests are served with individual pots of tea or coffee and a choice of toast and choose either a full English breakfast with New Forest sausages (vegetarian or gluten-free available), bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and a choice of eggs, or a continental breakfast of freshly baked croissants, white or brown rolls.
Meerut is very close to the village centre. There is a footpath just outside the gate which leads through to the open forest. The ponies, cattle and donkeys frequently roam around the village, wandering up to and even inside our gate at times! There are many places to dine in the village within walking distance. Although we are quite near the railway station, we are happy to collect you on request.
