Harts Lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation situated just outside the pretty Hampshire village of Everton and just a short drive away from the bustling town of Lymington. We are surrounded by trees in a tranquil location within easy reach of the beautiful New Forest National Park. There is a small lake in the garden that attracts a lot of wildlife. We have seating around the lake for the guests' relaxation.
We have a twin or family room with en suite shower overlooks our peaceful garden and can accommodate a family with children from eight years. Double Room with en suite shower overlooking our quiet front garden. Both rooms have a flat-screen television, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk available and Wi-Fi connection. Hairdryer and ironing facilities are available. All rooms are on the ground floor.
The breakfast is served in the sunny breakfast room overlooking the garden. Dennis and Rosemary are delighted to be able to offer you a four-course mouthwatering English breakfast from locally sourced farm produce including dried cured home bacon and free-range eggs from our own chickens. Lymington has a wonderful traditional Saturday market which spreads down the High Street with a variety of stalls ranging from antiques to freshly baked cakes and lots of unique shops to discover. Lymington harbour has a quay, marina and a huge sea-water swimming pool, which is open all summer, and a bandstand with regular Sunday entertainment. St. Barbes museum is well worth a visit as you can learn more about the smuggling history, the salt marshes and the influences of sailing on the town.
The New Forest National Park stretches away to the north and is just a few minutes drive. Keen walkers have the choice of a forest, heathland or cliff walks with dramatic scenery all around. The New Forest is the largest unenclosed area in Southern Britain. There are 93,000 acres of wild open heathland and ancient forest. The area is home to a wide variety of wildlife and domestic animals - donkeys, pigs and cattle are allowed to roam freely along with the famous wild ponies. The New Forest is an outstanding recreational park for walking, riding (bikes or horses), bird watching and generally enjoying the wide range of wildlife, trees and plants.
