The fine food, luxurious accommodation and exceptional service which are the hallmarks of Ardhasaig House are now available throughout the year.
With ferry fares to the islands having dropped dramatically this winter as a result of the RET (Road Equivalent Tariff) pilot scheme, there’s never been a better time to enjoy a relaxing break in this spectacular Hebridean setting.
We have a Michelin recommended restaurant which uses fresh, locally sourced ingredients whenever possible, all meals must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.
Ardhasaig House is an award-winning small hotel on the beautiful Isle of Harris. Set against the rugged backdrop of the Harris Hills, with stunning views across West Loch Tarbert to Ben Luskentyre and Taransay, it is the perfect place to unwind.
The hotel combines traditional comforts with contemporary facilities. Beautifully appointed bedrooms and public areas are complemented by an excellent licensed restaurant, featuring the best of local produce.
The proprietor and her team of dedicated, friendly staff provide exceptional standards of quality and service and are committed to ensuring that your Hebridean experience is one you will always remember.
Guest accommodation in the main house comprises 2 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms and 1 family room. All have en-suite facilities with either a shower or a bath and shower. The rooms are tastefully appointed, with quality furnishings, some of which are genuine antiques. A small, detached stone lodge (‘The Barn’) offers additional accommodation for two people – further details are available on another part of the website.
Your sense of seclusion from the stresses of the outside world is enhanced by the absence of television reception in the locality and all rooms are TV-free! However, rooms are equipped with CD players so that you can enjoy your favourite music as you sample your complimentary wine, tea or coffee.
