Dalkell Cottage Guest House in Tyndrum is set amidst spectacular mountain scenery and on the West Highland Way long distance path, a short drive from Crianlarich in Stirlingshire. The guest house which has off street parking is only 100 yards from the village centre and is surrounded by a spectacular mountain landscape.
We offer a high standard of comfortable guest accommodation for walkers and visitors and are equipped with a drying room for jackets and boots etc. There are 7 guest rooms available, all of which include tea and coffee making facilities, TV, hair dryer and central heating.
During the day guests are welcome to relax in our sitting room where there is a TV, books and board games to enjoy during your stay.
A full cooked breakfast is served each morning to ensure there is plenty of energy for walkers. Vegetarian options available.
Tyndrum is a great place to base yourself when touring around Scotland and the Highlands or doing some popular Munro Bagging. There are plenty Munros within easy reach of Tyndrum and lots of interesting places to visit within a short drive away. There are also plenty of woodland and forest walks from the village centre. There is a choice of three places for an evening meal, a petrol station, pub, Visitorís Centre and various gift and food shops as well as an outdoor gear store.
Dalkell Cottage Guest House in Tyndrum on the A82 is a 20 minute drive to Glencoe and the Glencoe Mountain Resort and 1 and a half hourís bus or car journey from Glasgow Airport. Tyndrum is on a train route. The West Highland Line runs from Glasgow Queen Street Station through to Fort William, Oban and the Western Isles.
