Knockbain House is in a stunning part of the Scottish Highlands and enjoys breathtaking countryside views. Dingwall is just a mile from the B&B and the county town of Ross & Cromarty, making us an ideal base for both business and leisure guests.
For those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of busy city life, we are the perfect retreat. Our B&B is on our working mixed farm, within 2-acres of landscaped garden, which we encourage you to enjoy. Guests are very welcome to pull on a pair of walking boots and take a walk around the farm.
Guests have their own wing, which is completely independent of the main accommodation allowing you to come and go as you please. Visitors appreciate having their own entrance door and hallway, along with exclusive use of the main sitting room and dining room. All of which deliver magnificent views of the Scottish Highland countryside that surrounds us. Both bedrooms have a homely feel and include:
Tea/coffee making facilities.
The twin room has a dedicated shower room adjacent and the double room has an en suite bathroom with bath and shower.
Breakfast is always made to order and our range of choices can meet all tastes. Enjoy the view of the garden and even breakfast on the patio on a lovely summerís morning. Dinner is available by special arrangement, we can provide a two or three-course evening meal.
We are perfectly positioned for exploring the North and West Highlands; travelling to Skye, by ferry to the Hebrides and Orkney, and within easy reach of Inverness for air, road and rail links.
