Located near the Perthshire village of Stanley, Newmill Farm boasts quaint Scottish countryside bed and breakfast accommodation on a 300 acre arable farm. With the famous city of Perth only a short distance away and providing a perfect launch pad to explore the Highlands, our B&B is a true gem perfect for any visitors to the area.
Accommodation in the B&B comprises a twin en suite room, double en suite room and family room with private bathroom. The farmhouse is centrally heated with a traditional coal fire in the lounge. Every endeavour is made to ensure the guests are comfortable however long or short their stay. The rooms include hair dryers, an iron and ironing board.
Having had a comfortable night in friendly surroundings, the breakfast will be second to none. Ranging from local fish to full cooked breakfasts and seasonal local fruit. Arbroath Smokies are a dish to remember! Early breakfasts are no problem, indeed, if you have any questions please feel free to visit the farmhouse kitchen, we are always around. Freshly made tea and coffee is always available and if there is anything that you would like, but is not on the menu, please feel free to ask. We do not serve evening meals, but there are excellent local restaurants nearby and Perth offering both entertainment and a wide range of eating establishments.
Perthshire is located in the centre of Scotland and offers a wide variety of scenery, history, culture and sport. You can experience the grandeur of the Highland scenery in the north, the historic glens in the west, the farmland and fruit growing fields in the east and the fishing loch of Loch Leven and nature reserve on the southern boundary. Throughout the region the River Tay and its tributaries provide beauty and recreation.
