Ardent House

Hopeman, Elgin, Morayshire

Ardent House in Hopeman is a family run bed and breakfast that is ideally based for exploring the local area of Morayshire. The B&B is within the quiet fishing village of Hopeman which is 14 minutes from Elgin which was once the cathedral city in Moray.

Our bed and breakfast has 3 guest rooms available. They are decorated to a very high standard and are equipped with hostess trays, TV, hair dryers and a few other extra bits to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Breakfast includes our own home-smoked fish, fruit and vegetables from the garden (when in season) and some delicious and tasty home baking.

The local area is very popular with photographers and artists due to the clarity of light and spectacular sunsets. Golfers, walkers, birdwatchers, cyclists and nature lovers return time and again to enjoy this haven on the Moray coast, which boasts 4 times as many hours of sunshine as other parts of Scotland.

Attractions in the local area include the Castle Trail, Whisky Trail and Coastal Trail. There are dolphins, ospreys, seals and many different kinds of seabirds and waders to be seen at the beach.
