Maya’s Holiday Homes is a 9-bedroom funky and original guest house, located in the heart of the West End, in the fabulous neighbourhood of Kelvinbridge which was recently voted one of the coolest neighbourhoods in the world by Timeout magazine. We look forward to welcoming you to Glasgow, and we also have a couple of serviced apartments if you require more space or freedom for your stay. We have been welcoming guests for 15 years, so we are experienced in providing a memorable stay for everyone that we have the privilege to host.
Breakfast at Maya’s Holiday Homes is a continental buffet with lots of choice. Cheeses, hams, juices, lots of cereal, toast, teas, coffee, bread roll, eggs, porridge, fresh fruit, yoghurt, so basically a generous Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk selection. In addition we cater for gluten free, vegan, and any other dietary requirement on demand.
There is a £4.00 charge per day parking, Monday to Friday. Saturdays and Sundays are free. Pay at the meter between 8am and 6pm or buy a voucher from the guest house for longer stays.
Guests are welcome to check in at any time between 3 pm and 7pm. Bags can be dropped earlier than check in time and we are happy to hold your bags after check-out. Please be sure to inform us if you wish to arrive after 7 pm.
Our house is quiet and strictly non smoking. There is no curfew but we do expect guests returning late to be respectful of other guests.
We love children and are very family friendly, we have cots, high chairs, and toys, and what is best is under 7's go free (when with 2 other adult guests and when using existing beds).
We are a stone's throw from most places, Kelvingrove Museum, SECC, the brand new Hydro, Botanic Gardens, Glasgow University, Buchanan Galleries, Prince's Square and its great shopping. If that is not enough there are also tons of fabulous places to eat. Our favourites to name but a few are Stravaigin, Left Bank, Mother India at the Lansdowne, Ubiquitous Chip and the Bothy. For tours, we recommend Rabbie's Tours! Just ask us, we are happy to reserve a table or a tour for you!
