The Lagg Hotel dates back to 1791 and can be found in its own secluded gardens in the wooded hollow of Lagg on the Isle of Arran. We are one of the oldest established hotels on the island and offer comfortable, warm and inviting guest rooms to all who want to stay in the Kilmory area.

Our guest rooms have been tastefully furnished and can accommodate single guests, couples, friends and families. We are perfect for those who are staying a night as a stopover or longer breaks such as honeymooners who might enjoy our romantic 4 poster guest room. Some of the bedrooms have skylight windows allowing you to gaze up at the stars in the clear night sky from your bed. All guest rooms include:

En suite bathroom.
Coffee/tea maker.
Hair dryer.
Clock radio.
Television.
Iron/ironing board (on request).
Rollaway beds for family rooms (on request).

You can eat a pub lunch in the bar or enjoy a cream tea in the Lagg Hotel gardens. Our chefs serve a selection of well-cooked dishes ranging from pub classics such as Freshly Battered Haddock to more sophisticated dishes such as confit duck with puy lentils, smoked bacon and swede chips. The Isle of Arran on the west coast of Scotland is known as Scotland in miniature. The lowland highland fault line divides the island giving granite mountains in the north and gentle rolling grasslands and raised beaches in the South. Arran is the most accessible of the Scottish Islands with direct public transport links. You can have breakfast in London and lunch on the Isle of Arran. It's 55 mins to Glasgow and a further 55 minutes on the ferry. Prestwick airport is just half an hour rail link from Ardrossan harbour. Arran offers visitors a wide variety of activities and has lots of places of interest to suit all ages. Arran has lots of places of geographic and archaeological interest. It has been inhabited for 1000's of years.
