The Burlington Guest House can be found at Whiting Bay on the Isle of Arran, which is often referred to as 'Scotland in Miniature’. We offer warm and welcoming guest accommodation that is ideally located for those who are looking to attempt the Arran Coastal Walk.
Our Edwardian guest house has offered travellers a comfortable place to stay for over 80 years. Our guest rooms have been recently refurbished and consist of single, double, king, super king and twin set ups. All of the rooms are en suite and include:
Tea and coffee making facilities.
Flat screen TV.
En suite shower room.
Iron and trouser press available.
We have a small but cosy bar (our bar is being renovated at the moment, but we can still get you that glass of wine) to enjoy a glass of wine during the day taking in the views or a dram at the end of the night just because you can, and a lovely garden area to the front to soak up that fabulous Scottish sunshine, when it shows itself.
Breakfast is served in our restaurant which is also available from 6pm daily for dinner.
The Village of Whiting Bay is on the east coast of Arran, eight miles south of the ferry terminal at Brodick. It is a peaceful place, characterised by large sea-side villas along the front, mostly built by wealthy traders, professionals and business people in the early 20th century. It the destination of choice of those people who are seeking a tranquil, relaxing holiday, perhaps taking in a little golf, some walking, birdwatching and beach-combing. Our little colony of swans is a particular feature of the village, providing constant fascination to local s and visitors alike.
