The Cnoc Hotel offers wonderful accommodation in Struy, nestled within the idyllic countryside of Strathglass. Our hotel near Beauly in Inverness-Shire is a great touring base for exploring the Highlands of Scotland and close to the famous glens of Affric, Cannich and Strathfarrar.
Our magnificent Victorian country house dates from the 1850s and now offers excellent accommodation. We have 7 beautiful bedrooms available, including double, family and twin rooms. All the rooms come with an en suite bathroom, tea and coffee making facilities, a hair dryer, radio alarm and an internal telephone system. Cots and extra beds can also be provided at no extra cost.
You can savour an excellent meal at our award-winning restaurant. We use freshly prepared local produce to create meals of the highest standard. Many of the local suppliers we use are right on our doorstep, ensuring locality is always at the forefront of our menu. For example, award-winning haggis and black pudding comes from Munro’s in Beauly and the West coast fish merchant and Williamson's Inverness also deliver to use twice as week. You can enjoy a pre or post-dinner drink at The Chisholm Bar. Our bar is full licensed from 12 noon and serves draught and bottled beer, fines wines and a superb range of malt whisky.
We offer a delightful afternoon tea which is very popular with guests and non-residents. This delicious experience includes finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and cakes, a selection of shortbreads and a variety of teas. Coffee is also available.
Our hotel is at the foot of Glen Strathfarrar, close to Glen Affric and only 20 miles from the City of Inverness. The area is ideal is fantastic for walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers, golfers and fishing enthusiasts. Great attractions to visit include:
