Wyvis, originally 3 dwellings, is a converted mill workers cottage and dates back to around 1845. Converted into a single dwelling around the mid-1940’s, Wyvis offers exceptional 4 Star Bed & Breakfast accommodation for a maximum of four guests.
Ben Cleuch is a very spacious double room, fully centrally heated, with a kingsize double bed and a mixture of modern and antique oak furniture. Although it is not en-suite Ben Cleuch has its own large private bathroom next door to the room. The bathroom has it's large original cast iron enamel bathtub and a separate shower cubicle with a top of the range adjustable power shower. Both bedroom and bathroom are furnished to the highest standard.
Kingseat is a spacious double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. The furniture is of an exceptionally high-quality solid oak with a modern appeal. For that added touch of luxury and comfort, the bedding is crisp Cotton sheets and duvet covers or you can have Pure Wool blankets if you prefer. There are also soft fluffy Egyptian Cotton bath towels, bathrobes, slippers, a selection of Scottish toiletries and a hairdryer.
Tea and coffee making facilities are also available not forgetting our famous home-made Shortbread. There is a bedside clock radio alarm with integral iPod dock so you can wake up to your favourite track.
Our delicious breakfast is the perfect start for your busy day with all of our dishes freshly prepared each morning. Help yourself from the buffet of fruit juices, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit compote. There is also a platter of seasonal fresh fruit as well. Scottish Porridge is there too!
The “WEE COUNTY”, as Clackmannanshire is affectionately known, is within easy reach of the cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow and their respective airports, as well as Scotland's newest city of Stirling. This makes it an ideal destination for touring the beautiful scenic and historic Central Belt of Scotland, which has many places of interest to visit. With new transport links now completed access is quick and easy from the motorway and rail networks.
