Collenan House B&B is a comfortable, family-run bed and breakfast in a quiet location on the outskirts of Troon in Ayrshire. We are only a few minutes from the town centre, railway station and golf courses.
We have a range of comfortable and relaxing rooms available, including double, twin and single rooms. Some of the rooms enjoy pretty views over the garden or across Toon to the Isle of Arran. Guest rooms include a hospitality tray, tea and coffee-making facilities and television (excluding the single room).
You can unwind in the guest lounge which has a TV and local and national visitor information/reading materials. The living-flame electric fire will keep you warm and toasty.
All rates include a full Scottish or continental breakfast, prepared to order and using fair-trade produce where possible. Special diets catered for on request.
The breakfast menu includes fruit juice, choice of cereals or porridge, fried, scrambled, poached or boiled eggs, back bacon, sausage, black pudding, tomato, mushrooms, fried bread or potato scone, toast, preserves, honey, tea, filter or decaffeinated coffee. Continental breakfast includes fruit juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, muesli or cereal, toast, croissants etc (when available), honey, preserves, tea and filter or decaffeinated coffee.
We are a few minutes from the town centre, ferry terminal and golf-courses and less than ten minutes from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport. The guest house is also ideally placed for visiting the Burns Country and also for touring further afield.
