The Colintraive Hotel offers award-winning guest house accommodation in the quiet village of Colintraive in Argyll. We are perfect for those who want to explore the Kyles of Bute, which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Loch Lomond National Park. We are also a great stop-off point for those who are travelling to Islay, Jura, Gigha and Kintyre.
Our hotel rooms have a range of beautifully appointed rooms to choose from. Each room enjoys either country or sea views. They are all tastefully furnished and include a flat-screen TV, beverage tray and luxury en suite facilities.
You can dine in our wonderful restaurant which comes with period features and boasts views of the north and south of the Kyles. We are proud of the menu we have available and actively source local produce where possible. Local shellfish and meats come from the Island of Bute, guaranteeing the best local produce. You can also unwind our lounge or enjoy a drink or two in our more informal bar.
Colintraive is a small village on the eastern coast of the Cowal peninsula. It sits at the narrowest point in the Kyles of Bute - barely more than a couple of hundred yards at this point - and is the place from which the small CalMac car ferry departs to Rhubodach on the isle of Bute opposite.
