Bay Tarbet Hotel

Tarbet, Argyll, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park

Facilities

Description

Bay Tarbet Hotel is a 67 bedroomed hotel, nestled within a stunning part of Argyll. This stately building is in an enviable position, on the edge of Loch Lomond and has a backdrop of the breathtaking scenery of the Trossachs National Park.

We pride ourselves on offering warm, friendly Scottish hospitality and provide guests with a place to stay that is comfortable and cosy. Our rooms are split across two room types, offering different levels of facility. All rooms feature a comfy bed, television, en suite and tea and coffee making facilities as standard. Additional amenities are provided in higher graded rooms, such as a Tassimo coffee machine, large flat-screen TV, complimentary toiletries and premium Wi-Fi.

Rooms are available as a double, twin, family and single options.

In a morning, tuck into a hearty buffet-style breakfast before venturing out to explore this incredible local area Ė a region steeped in history with delights at every turn. After an unforgettable day taking in the sights and sounds of this captivating location, unwind with a delicious 3-course meal in the Tarbetís attractive restaurant and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple or a wee dram, served by the hotelís attentive staff. An enjoyable programme of live entertainment awaits, with superb live acts, including comedy, vocals and traditional Scottish Pipers to round off the evening.

During your stay, why not cruise over the waters and take in the might of Ben Lomond, which is the most southerly Munro in Scotland and is shouldered by the steep Arrochar Alps. Thousands flock to the area each year and attempt the 974-metre climb, which can take up to 6 hours. The reward is incredible views over the Loch and to the Trossachs. The Loch has 30 islands, home to a variety of wildlife, including a colony of wallabies on the island of Inchconnachan.
