"Rest and revive with an agri-tourism holiday on our tranquil, authentic, working farm, where a warm welcome awaits from our 2 and 4 legged family. Savour the flavours of Angus before touring our farm, then explore the nature trails and find the hidden gems of Angus."
Newton of Fothringham is a farm with a difference. In the peaceful, idyllic setting of Angus, Scotland, lies the traditional, working, family-run farm that offers not just a well-deserved break in the award-winning farmhouse bed and breakfast or self-catering cottage, but memories to last a lifetime.
This authentic farm has attracted many families and with contemporary country-themed rooms is ideal for that peaceful escape from city life. The newly refurbished rooms offer everything you could possibly need. Stay in the farmhouse for a personal and unique service, or try the three-bedroom self-catering cottage just one field away from the farm, also perfect for families. Centrally located, Newton Farm Holidays is an ideal base from which to explore Scotland, ideally situated for many activities including shopping, golf, curling, hillwalking, fishing, shooting, off-road driving and many tourist attractions including Glamis Castle, the childhood home of the Queen Mother.
On arrival at Newton Farmhouse, you will find the car park is conveniently located next to the guest entrance with the added benefit of CCTV coverage of the parking area. After a warm welcome into the family home, decorated throughout with aspects of nature, you can settle into the charming, family room en-suite perfectly located on the ground floor, so after a day of exploring you don’t have to carry your luggage upstairs.
With a small en-suite shower and WC, the large family room is smartly decorated in a relaxed country style offering magnificent, panoramic views across the farm towards Carrot hill Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk to the South. Comprising one double bed and one double sofa bed, the family room can sleep up to four guests as single, double, twin or family occupancy, and as a child-friendly home a cot is available by request, and other baby/toddler accessories as required.
