Point Grey Bed & Breakfast is a charming B&B in Royal Deeside at Banchory. We are in a quiet area but within a 5 minute walk from the town centre.
We have a warm and comfortable twin bedded room with internet, smart TV, trouser press, hairdryer and tea making facilities. Next door is a bathroom with bath and an excellent power shower.
Banchory is a delightful market town situated on the river Dee between Aberdeen to the east, and Braemar, Balmoral castle and the Highlands to the west. There are a number of good eating places to suit every budget, including hotel and bistro style establishments.
This is a great starting place for exploring the whisky trails and the castles and fortified houses built during the areaís earlier more turbulent past. Crathes Castle, now owned by The National Trust, is A 15 minute drive away and boasts internationally renowned gardens and other recreational amenities. The town has two golf courses: indeed there are at least half a dozen top rate courses within a 25 mile radius, and if you feel like going a little further, then a visit to St. Andrews, the home of golf and Scotlandís oldest university, makes a very rewarding day out.
