Belle Green Bed & Breakfast

Near Sawrey, Ambleside, Cumbria

Facilities

Description

Belle Green Bed & Breakfast, your idyllic retreat in Near Sawrey, offers guest accommodation close to Hawkshead and Ambleside. At Belle Green, we pride ourselves on offering exquisite rooms with captivating views, delicious breakfasts and a heartfelt welcome to all our guests.

Following a recent renovation, Belle Green now boasts three beautifully appointed en-suite guest rooms, each offering stunning views over the village of Near Sawrey, the very place where Beatrix Potter penned her beloved children’s tales. Named after local Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk tarns - 'Moss Eccles', 'Wiseen', and 'Three Dubs' - each room offers garden views and glimpses of Near Sawrey and Hill Top, Beatrix Potter's first farm, right from your window.

There are two rooms with luxurious king-size beds and one twin room, each featuring an en-suite bathroom for your convenience. The rooms are thoughtfully decorated and come equipped with flat-screen TVs and facilities for making tea and coffee. For a restful night's sleep, our king-size beds are fitted with memory foam mattresses and we provide soft Egyptian cotton linens. While our rooms are cosy and inviting, they cannot accommodate extra beds.

Guests are welcome to relax in our sitting room, an ideal spot for enjoying a good book. During the cooler months, we keep the fire burning, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room is stocked with a selection of books, maps, walking guides, and magazines for your enjoyment.

Our breakfast room, the house's historic heart, features wooden beams and an authentic spice cupboard, adding to the charm of your dining experience. This space also serves as the perfect setting for our delightful afternoon offerings of tea, coffee and cakes.

There is so much to see and do in the area, including:

Hill Top - Beatrix Potter's House.
Grizedale Forest & Visitor Centre.
