Heads Nook Hall offers a unique luxury country guest house experience, located on the edge of the village of Heads Nook, seven miles from Carlisle. Its location makes it an ideal base for touring this beautiful region, including the Lake District National Park and Roman Wall.
Built in the 1840s, Heads Nook Hall retains all the original Victorian features including a panelled dining room. The spacious guest rooms have extensive views of the magnificent grounds. Each room has a double or kin gsize bed and an en suite bathroom with either a large Victorian bath or shower. Free Wi-Fi is available in the guest rooms and there is internet access in the morning room.
There are plenty of woodland walks within the eight acres of grounds owned by the family.
The Gold Room (North facing): This luxurious four poster room comes with a supper king size bed. There are two en suite rooms, one containing the shower and the second comes with a larger slipper bath and washbasin. The room has digital Freeview TV, a Blu-ray player and iPod audio system. Full tea and coffee making facilities are available.
The Yellow Room (East facing): This beautiful guest room offers a double bed, full tea and coffee making facilities, en suite with toilet washbasin and power shower, digital Freeview with Blu-ray player, iPod audio system and extensive views over the grounds and North Pennines.
The Green Room (East and South facing): A luxurious guest room offers a double bed, full tea and coffee making facilities, en suite with toilet, washbasin and large original Victorian bath, digital Freeview with Blu-ray player, iPod audio system and extensive views over the grounds and Cumrew Pike.
The Blue Room (South and West Facing): This magnificent room is the largest of the three bedrooms and has a super king size bed. Full tea and coffee making facilities, en suite with washbasin and large original Victorian bath and power shower, digital Freeview with Blu-ray player, iPod audio system and extensive views over the grounds and Heads Nook Village and the Scottish hills beyond.
The Morning Room: The downstairs Morning Room is available for guests to relax in front of the crackling log fire at the end of the day. The room has comfortable leather Chesterfield sofas with a plasma TV with Freesat, a DVD player and a selection of DVDs and a CD player. A wide selection of books and board games are also available.
