The Atlantis Guest House in South Shields offers a friendly welcome and offers a high standard of accommodation. Our guest house is located only a short walk from the South Shields sea front and within easy access of public transport and the motorway to enjoy the many attractions that the Tyne & Wear region has to offer.
All of our guest rooms have been refurbished to a good quality and high standard. All rooms have en-suite facilities, satellite television with DVD player, central heating, tea and coffee facilities and double glazed windows. Wireless Internet also available.
Breakfast is included within the room rate and is served in our dining room. A full English option is provided and we are happy to cater to any special dietary requirements, we ask that guests just let us know when booking.
South Shields is rich with history and heritage. Arbeia Roman Fort recreates the Roman history of the area and is located behind the guest house while maritime heritage is celebrated at Souter Lighthouse. South Shields Museum and Art Gallery is also a must to visit during your stay. Visiting the seaside is not complete without a trip to the funfair. Ocean Beach Pleasure Park has lots of rides and amusements for all ages with a variety of rides.
