Lyndale Guest House offers charming guest house accommodation in Bellingham near Hexham. We are a great base to explore a range of attractions in Northumberland.
The Lyndale Guest House has been tastefully furnished throughout and home cooking is a speciality of your hosts. Most of our rooms have delightful views, a TV, hairdryers, tea and coffee making facilities, dressing gowns and toiletries. The twin room and double room come with en suite facilities on the ground floor. The dorma family unit has a double & a single bedroom with private bathroom facilities, including a whirlpool bath & shower. You can enjoy a very relaxing soak after your great day out. The dorma suite is reached by our unusual Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk spiral staircase. Both have very good facilities.
Breakfast is a four-course meal of your choice in our sun lounge with its beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We are on both the Pennine Way path and the Rivers Cycle route. Enjoy a superb day out in the English & Scottish Borders. Breakfast is a menu of your choice including a vegetarian selection. Daily newspapers are provided in the comfortable sitting room which leads through to the sun lounge dining room, with its wonderful panoramic views. Afternoon tea & biscuits are served on the terrace under the gazebo, next to the water fountain. The ancient Healing Well of St. Cuthbert is just over our garden wall.

Lyndale Guest House is situated in Bellingham, on the edge of the National park, overlooking the River North Tyne, renowned for salmon, trout and course fishing, yet only 100 yards from the village shops, pubs and restaurant.
The area offers an array of activities for both the adventurous visitor and those who just wish to spend a while relaxing on Bellingham's 18 hole golf course and driving range. If its discovery you are looking for we can supply you with maps, books & brochures for the Roman Wall, the coasts and castles, Bellingham's ancient 12th Century church and Healing Well, or a nature trail to our spectacular waterfalls.
Water is a big feature of this area and no more so than the breathtaking Kielder Water, where you will find not just amazing countryside to look at, but many interesting and varied attractions for all ages to enjoy. Participate locally in a wide variety of activities: walking, fishing, horse riding, sailing, windsurfing, cycling, golf, swimming or just relax in our garden. You may even enjoy a trip into Scotland!
