Mount Pleasant Farm Bed & Breakfast is located in a beautiful part of the North Yorkshire countryside, just outside of Whashton near Richmond. Whashton is a peaceful village and is a great base for those who want to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire and the vale of York.
Our farmhouse dates back to 1850 and now offers comfortable and homely guest accommodation that is ideal for those who are looking for a relaxing, country break away. Our bed and breakfast is set on our farm where we keep sheep and beef cattle.
At the bed and breakfast we have a choice of luxury cottage style guest rooms available, each of which has their own front door as well as B&B rooms within the farmhouse itself. One of our guest rooms is adapted for wheelchair users. All B&B rooms have good heating for the winter months, TV and tea/coffee making facilities.
Award winning breakfasts are served in the beamed farmhouse dining room and include our homemade, prize winning sausage, dry cured bacon, black pudding and preserves made with fruit from our orchard. For evening meals there is a choice of excellent local hospitality within walking distance of the farm.
Guestsmay relax in the cosy guests' sitting room with open log fires in winter months and glorious views over open countryside. Lots of tourist information and books for you to enjoy.
