Pry House Farm B&B and Shepherd's Hut near Keld in North Yorkshire offers bed and breakfast accommodation in a traditional Swaledale farmhouse. We are situated in Upper Swaledale in an unspoilt and dramatically beautiful corner of the Yorkshire Dales. The acres of wide open spaces, mountains of fresh air, oodles of peace and tranquillity, ensures a relaxing and revitalising stay is had by all. Pry House is a working hill farm. Depending on the time of year you visit we may be lambing, hay making, shearing, walling - there is usually something happening on the farm.
Twin Bedroom - Our twin room offers two single beds featuring high-quality pocket sprung mattresses, adorned with luxurious linen and cozy duvets ensuring a restful night's sleep during your stay. Furnished with an antique wardrobe and dressing table, the room overlooks tranquil meadows and pastures. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in-room for your convenience. Additionally, the twin room boasts a spacious private bathroom complete with a deep soaking tub, perfect for unwinding with a relaxing soak. Located just a short walk across the landing from the bedroom, it offers convenience and privacy for your comfort.
Double En suite Room - The double en suite room features an incredibly comfortable king-size bed with picturesque views of the meadows and expansive fells. Guests are captivated by the stunning scenery and find it difficult to leave. Depending on the season, visitors can enjoy various sights such as playful lambs, boxing hares, soaring lapwings, and graceful swallows. The en suite shower room is both spacious and modern, equipped with a powerful shower and abundant hot water for your comfort. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the room for added convenience.

Our guest lounge, complete with an open fire during the winter months, provides a cozy retreat. Accessible via a private staircase, both guest rooms at Pry House Farm are perfectly suited for families or two couples vacationing together.

Our bed & breakfast is located 2 miles west of the quaint hamlet of Keld in Upper Swaledale. Keld offers a tearoom, Information Centre, and a small hotel, nestled amidst stunning, unspoilt scenery. It serves as a pivotal point for two renowned long-distance trails: the Coast to Coast and Pennine Way. The area boasts numerous cycling routes, both on and off-road, along with an abundance of footpaths and bridleways waiting to be explored. Pry House Farm stands as the nearest B&B to Ravenseat, the home of the Yorkshire Shepherdess and her family. Keld also boasts the highest concentration of waterfalls in England, enhancing the beauty of the many picturesque walks in the vicinity and providing a wonderful opportunity for wild swimming enthusiasts. Just 5 miles away lies Tan Hill Inn, England's highest pub, while a variety of traditional pubs, tearooms and other excellent dining options are conveniently located nearby.
