Skibbereen has heaps to offer visitors with its golden beaches, stunning scenery, Heritage Centre, challenging golf course, to name just a few of the attractions.
Every Thursday afternoon, the Country Market operates from Abbeystrewry Parochial Hall, while on Saturday, the Skibbereen Farmers Market is held from 9.30 am until 1.30 pm at the Fairfield. Each provides an excellent range of food, crafts, bric-a-brac, etc. This is rural Ireland at its best. The cattle market is held on Fridays.
