Hardwick House offers outstanding Bed & Breakfast accommodation in the historic town of Shrewsbury. This magnificent 18th Century Georgian house is Grade II Listed and is located in the premier residential street in the historic town centre. We are just a short stroll from the high street but also boast a rural feel, great for a memorable break in Shropshire.
This beautiful house is one of the finest examples of early Georgian architecture in Shrewsbury and although it is in the heart of the town centre, it has a relaxing country house feel. There is a peaceful walled garden at the back which includes a magnificent 18th Century summerhouse.

The Oak Room has fabulous Georgian oak panelling and both this and the painted Acorn Room can be made up as either a twin or a super king double room. Both rooms have white cotton bed linen, a TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. A further twin/double room adjoins the Acorn Room and can share the bathroom, making it great for families or friends.
On arrival, you can look forward to delicious homemade cake or biscuits. In the morning, tuck into our traditional cooked breakfast using the best locally sourced produce, including free-range organic or ingredients where possible. We also provide freshly baked bread, homemade jam and marmalade, cereals, muesli, yoghurts and fruit.
