Grove Farm B & B in Kimbolton, near Leominster in Herefordshire, offers glorious B&B accommodation on small livestock farm in over 40 acres of land. We rear up to 40 Aberdeen Angus Cattle and breed 100 Suffolk Sheep, making us a true rural paradise which will stick long in your memory.
Next to the farmhouse and above the shop and farm office we have 2 charming rooms which are both en suite and can either be twin or double rooms. The bedrooms are separate from the house: they have their own entrance and therefore can be let as a complete semi self contained unit. Beautiful views are seen from each window. The bed linen is top quality Egyptian cotton sheets with either blankets or duvets. For families a "smaller" fifth member can be put up on a "Z-bed".
Each guest room has TV, hospitality tray, chest of draws and wardrobe together with long mirror, side tables and chairs. Both rooms are centrally heated and breakfast is served in the tea room which during the cold winter mornings is heated by a wood burning stove.
Breakfast is served between 7.00am and 10.00am and includes a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, local yoghurt, cheeses, freshly baked croissants, homemade jams and marmalades. The sausage, bacon and eggs if not our own will be from other local producers. Mushrooms when available picked from the fields and tomatoes from the garden.
Accessibility: the shop, tearoom and garden have full disabled access and both rooms are situated on the first floor of the old cider mill and are accessed by a single flight of stairs with a hand rail.
BBQ area available for those wishing to cook their own evening meal, lunch and tea can be provided in the tea room.
There are many things to do whilst staying in our B&B, not only on the farm but in the beautiful countryside of Herefordshire. There are many lovely walks and bicycle rides around the quiet lanes surrounding the farm. Within walking distance of us there is Stockton Bury Gardens well known for its "floral borders" and Berrington Hall, which is a beautiful National Trust property. There are other historic places of interest within a 20 mile radius of the Farm. Approximately 5 miles from the farm there are the puzzling gardens of Hampton Court to the south and Croft Castle to the north. Near by, there are many sporting activities available such as golf, tennis, a riding school, fishing and the local leisure centre which are all within a 5 mile radius.
