The Saracens Head Inn

Symonds Yat East, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire

The Saracens Head Inn offers guest house accommodation situated in Symonds Yat East near Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire. This inn has stood for centuries in its spectacular position on the east bank of the River Wye where the river flows into a steep wooded gorge, on the edge of the Forest of Dean.

We have ten en suite bedrooms, eight of which overlook the river. Our en suite bathrooms have either a bath (with a shower) or a shower only.

Breakfast, included in the price of the room, is served in the dining room at this bed & breakfast accommodation. We serve both hearty and healthy breakfasts for our guests.

There is also a small lounge with a TV and games for the use of residents only.

We are located in Symonds Yat which is a few miles off the A40 between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth.

Our inn is popular with walkers, cyclists, canoeists, fishermen and fans of good food and real ales. There is a relaxed ambience throughout and we make a perfect rest point for those exploring the beautiful Wye Valley & The Forest of Dean.

We also run an ancient ferry service across the river to Symonds Yat West.
