The Swan Hotel provides fantastic accommodation and a superb restaurant in the picturesque town of Wotton-Under-Edge. We are based in a wonderful position on the edge of the Cotswold Way and only a 20-minute drive from the M5, offering a great base for exploring Gloucestershire.
Our beautifully converted 17th Century coaching inn is brimming with original character and charm, whilst offering modern comforts for an unforgettable getaway. The 15 en suite bedrooms have been recently refurbished to provide gorgeous accommodation. All the rooms include a variety of facilities including tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The rates include a continental breakfast and a cooked breakfast is available on request. A laundry service is also available.
Our light and airy restaurant offers wonderful freshly cooked food. The varied menu includes delicious dishes such as homemade classic lasagne, pan-seared seabass and the chef’s homemade pie.
You can enjoy a relaxing drink at the cosy bar or in the snug area. We are a member of CAMRA and offer a brilliant range real ales from local breweries.
This part of the country is a paradise for walkers, will lots of gorgeous routes to enjoy. You can walk along The Cotswold Way National Trail, offering the perfect opportunity to admire the amazing natural landscape. Only a 15-minute drive away is Slimbridge Wetland Centre, home to a stunning range of ducks, geese, swans and flamingos.
