Bonehill Farm can be found just outside of Mickleover near Derby and is a large Georgian house that offers family friendly guest accommodation. Our guest house dates back to 1740 and is the perfect place for those who want a quiet and peaceful base from which to explore Derbyshire.
Our guest rooms are all on the first floor and have their own en suite facilities. Each guest room has a double & a single bed as well as a hospitality tray, DVD player, Wi-Fi access and a Freeview TV. There is a proper dressing table for you to use and a chair or sofa to relax on while enjoying a cup of tea or coffee in a morning. Beautiful views from the rolling Derbyshire countryside can be enjoyed from each guest room.
A full English breakfast is served in the dining room and include traditional homemade marmalade. We also have a very comfortable sitting room for you to relax in after a busy day. If the weather is nice, why not enjoy sitting in our large garden or play a game of croquet on the lawn.
We are well situated for exploring the many attractions and places of interest throughout Derbyshire. National Trust properties such as Calke Abbey, Sudbury Hall and Kedleston Hall are within easy reach and the Sustrans Cycle Way (route 54 – 68) runs through our farm and is popular with walkers and cyclists, alternately why not visit Bakewell, Buxton and the Peak District National Park – all of which are great days out.
