The Cedars Guest-House & Bed and Breakfast is a high quality and historic property that has been awarded VisitBritain’s 4 star Grade, and also the ‘Fresh’ Clean Air Award. The Cedars is located in a secluded ¾ Acre of gardens, near the historic millworkers’ cottages in the heart of the Derbyshire town of Belper.
About The Cedars:
In the late 18th century, Belper was the nail-making centre of Britain, with over 500 nailers working around the town. The Nailmaster of Belper, Abram Harrison, built himself a grand house in 1827 on a small farm between Jedediah Strutt's mill village and the town of Belper, and this house, originally called Field House, is now known as The Cedars.
