Beinn Bhracaigh is an elegant Victorian Country House, built in 1880, it has thoughtfully extended and decorated with a blend of antique and contemporary styles, creating a peaceful, relaxing, and truly memorable experience. From our elevated position, most rooms offer sweeping views over our walled garden, the town of Pitlochry below and the Tummel Valley beyond.
Rooms are located within the East, West, or Original House wings of the property and are situated between the ground and first floors. Unfortunately, we do not have lifts. Each bedroom is individually appointed with hypo-allergenic bedding and the finest cotton duvets, with fresh, plump towelling courtesy of Hall & Letts. Most rooms feature sumptuous beds from Highland Blindcraft and all have complimentary toiletries supplied by the Scottish Fine Soap Company, both based in Scotland. All rooms have en-suite facilities, most with walk-in showers.
Ground Floor Double Standard - Located in the East Wing, rooms 'Dee' and 'Fiddich' are adjacent and offer great views over our patio and the Tummel Valley. These rooms feature a contemporary, clean, light and bright design with individual touches of colour echoed through the soft furnishings and 'Spirit of Wood' furniture with walk-in shower en-suite facilities.
First Floor Double Standard - Rooms 'Isla', 'Garry' Text taken from thebandbdirectory.co.uk and the cosy double 'Tilt' are all located in the East Wing with great views over our patio, walled garden and the Tummel Valley. These rooms have a contemporary, clean, light, and bright design with individual touches of colour through the soft furnishings and walk-in shower en-suite facilities. Room 'Findhorn', the largest of this standard, is located in the Original House. It is decorated in a more period style. While it may not offer the best views, it provides a high degree of privacy with its quirky en-suite double room and walk-in shower facilities.
Ground Floor Classic Standard - Rooms 'Tummel' and 'Tweed', located in the West Wing near reception, are adjacent. Both rooms, available as twins on request for a minimum 2-night stay, are south-facing with exquisite views over the walled garden and the Tummel Valley. Each room has a light, bright feel with super-king zip & link beds and recently refurbished walk-in shower en-suite facilities.
First Floor Classic Standard - Room 'Nethy', located in the West Wing near reception, is the only room featuring a bath with a shower-over option. This light, bright, south-facing room offers great views. Rooms 'Dochart' and 'Livet', located in the Original House, are decorated in a more period style and have walk-in shower en-suites. These rooms feature original period details and offer a quirky charm.
Superior Room, Tay - Located in the Original House and decorated with a subtle Farrow & Ball palette and period-style furniture, this south-facing room offers wonderful views of the distant hills. It features a traditional large airy walk-in shower en-suite, a small settee, and period furniture, making it ideal for longer stays and special occasions. Generally, this room is available for a minimum 2-night stay throughout the year.
Junior Suite, Spey - Located in the West Wing near reception, this south-facing room is decorated with a clean modern palette and offers wonderful views of the distant hills. The bathroom has recently been upgraded with a lovely walk-in shower en-suite. This room also features substantial storage, a large seating area and a mini-fridge, making it ideal for longer stays and special occasions. Generally, this room is available for a minimum 2-night stay or more throughout the year.
