The Three Wells Hotel is surrounded by Mid Wales countryside and is situated at Howey, near Llandrindod Wells in the heart of Powys.
We have something to suit all tastes: our single occupancy rooms all have double beds; our standard double or twin rooms are have plenty of space and great views; our family rooms can sleep two adults and two children; our ground floor room has easy access; and our premier suites have extra space and luxury for those who wish to treat themselves.
All rooms include the following facilities:
En-suite bathroom with shower (many also have baths)
Digital (freeview) television
Tea/coffee making facilities
Towels and linen (changed every 3 days during long stays)
Complementary 'au lait' toiletries
Great views to the front over our lake or to the side or rear over rolling pastures
The menu in our Lakeview Restaurant (open 6pm-9pm all week) changes with the seasons to make the most fresh, quality produce. Dining is informal and we prefer a relaxed ambience where the focus is on delicious, unpretentious food. Our wine list is reasonably priced, while including sufficient variety to satisfy most tastes. For those who aren’t looking for the full restaurant experience, the same menu and snacks are available from our bar, served daily 6pm-9pm. And all of our guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a great Welsh breakfast, included in the price, with hearty and lighter options to suit your mood and taste. Our well-stocked bar supplies a range of beers, wines and spirits. Again, we seek to promote great local products and we stock a range of bottled ‘Monty’ ales from Montgomeryshire; ‘Glyndwr’ Welsh wines; and the excellent ‘Penderyn’ range of Welsh whiskies.
Llandrindod Wells, just 2km from Three Wells, is the town at the geographical heart of Wales and is a natural meeting point for people travelling from all over the country, as well as being an attractive town in its own right.
Builth Wells (Llanfair-ym-Muallt), a 5 minute drive from Three Wells, is famous as home to the Royal Welsh Showground, whose many events draw visitors from across Europe and beyond. A little further, Hay-on-Wye is famed for its year-round beauty as much as for its annual literary festival.
