The Clarence Inn is nestled in the lovely town of Brecon in Powys. We are surrounded by the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park. Our aim is to provide quality food and drink in a pleasant and friendly pub environment.
We have recently refurbished the first floor at the rear of the building and have rebuilt 4 new letting rooms all to a high standard. All rooms are en suite with showers, one with a bath, and all have tea and coffee making facilities and a flat screen TV. We have one family room which can be let as a double, twin, triple or quad occupancy, one room is permanently a double and the remaining two rooms can be of a double or twin configuration.
The Clarence Inn has one of the finest beer gardens that there is. Solid garden furniture, real grass, and very occasionally some sun. We also like to think of it as safe too, as there is no direct access to the main road.
Our menu is served seven days a week from 12pm until 2.30 pm and from 7pm to 9pm every day except Wednesday evenings. Sunday lunch offers a traditional Sunday roast only. Booking definitely advisable. For a new experience take a look at our Black Rock Grill and enjoy an interactive dining feast!
Nestled in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, the town of Brecon is currently undergoing a renaissance. Brecon boasts a cathedral, theatre, cinema, castle ruins, stunning Georgian architecture as well as being the final destination for the Monmouth and Brecon Canal which terminates in the charming canal basin next to the theatre.
