The Ceridwen Centre

Drefelin, Llandysul, Carmarthenshire

Facilities

Description

The Ceridwen Centre offers guest accommodation in an area of outstanding natural beauty at Drefelin, near Llandysul in Carmarthenshire.

Our bed and breakfast consists of 2 comfortable double bedrooms in our farmhouse home, Pen-y-banc. Both are simply furnished in a country style and feature exposed stone walls. Taliesin is a large en suite room with 1 double bed plus one optional single. It has a lofted ceiling with attractive timber beams, stained glass panels and double windows to the side. Gwion is next door and has exclusive use of a bathroom a few steps away. This room has a double bed, with soft blue green panelling and double windows to the front and side.

Both of our guest rooms are up one flight of stairs with several extra quirky steps, so may not be suitable for visitors with limited mobility. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in each room.

A cooked vegetarian or continental breakfast is served in the front downstairs living/dining room which guests have exclusive use of. There is a choice of teas or coffee and homemade preserves.

Travel cots are available for both rooms.

Our centre is a welcoming holiday, training and retreat centre on an Organic farm. Feel relaxed and revived by the time you leave us! For full details on our accommodation and our facilities please visit our website.

There are many places to visit while staying with us. The Afon Teifi is the longest river which flows entirely within Wales, starting as a trickle in desolate mossy moorlands and entering Cardigan Bay seventy five glorious miles later. For the adventurous, there are outdoor pursuits to follow. For others a relaxing stroll by the water or taking in the stunning views may be enough. Excellent local produce – from sea, river and land – can be sampled in the area’s hostelries and restaurants. You’ll find a wide range of arts and crafts, galleries and studios throughout the valley and a warm welcome in one of the many and varied cottages, tipis, farmhouses, yurts, gypsy wagons or cabins available in the valley.
