The White Horse Inn is a traditional village freehouse in the picturesque and historical village of Stogumber.
Lying towards the western end of the Valley of Taunton Deane, the pub is within easy access of both The Quantock Hills and Exmoor.
It is only a few miles from Watchet Marina and from Minehead, which is the start of the beautiful coastal route passing through such places as Porlock, Countisbury, Lynton, Lynmouth, and Lorna Doone Country before heading on along the North Devon Coast all the way down through Cornwall: truly spectacular scenery all the way.
Owner John Trebilcock was born and grew up a few miles from this Grade II listed building.
Guest Bedrooms at The White Horse are light and airy with a view of the village church. They are accessed by the external staircase, as seen in the photograph, allowing guests to come and go as they please.
All our rooms are en suite, and have tea/coffee making facilities, tv/dvd, hairdryers, etc.
The White Horse Inn is a friendly, family-run Grade II Listed pub with restaurant, in the village of Stogumber, on the edge of the Quantock Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
