Stoberry House is the perfect place to stay. It has breathtaking views over the City of Wells and the Vale of Avalon. The six acre family garden planted sympathetically within its landscape, provides a stunning combination of vistas accented with wildlife ponds, water features, sculpture and 1½ acre walled garden.

We have 5 luxurious rooms available:

The Studio - offers delightful accommodation set within 26 acres of parkland and with spectacular, panoramic views over the city of Wells and the Vale of Avalon.

The Silk Room - A romantic King Size or twin bedded room with a half tester canopy bed, with en suite bathroom, and equipped with TV and DVD, and clock radio alarm.

Lady Hamilton - An elegant and romantic four poster double bedroom with large spacious Italian tiled en suite bathroom. Equipped with TV, DVD player and clock radio alarm.

Black Orchid - A chic modern luxurious double bedroom with King size bed and en suite shower room, and equipped with TV and DVD, and clock radio alarm. Nespresso coffee machine and a drinks tray in the room.

Aeonium - We think of this room as our single room with double bed although for a small supplement we are happy to allow double occupancy.

They have a little pantry with Nespresso coffee machine, selection of luxury teas, fridge, ice machine and all those little extras.

Our special breakfast has been described by guests as divine indulgence. One of the treats about staying at Stoberry is breakfast which features fresh locally produced food, is light and full of goodness, fun ideas, and loved unreservedly by our guests.

The garden has a unique and truly unforgettable back drop, the garden has interesting sculpture artistically integrated into various areas as part of the creative design and complementing many of the outdoor seating areas. We specialise in small intimate wedding receptions from 20 people or a larger Somerset wedding up to 180 people.

In order to keep Stoberry a unique and special experience for a Somerset wedding, only a few wedding receptions or special functions will be hosted each year which will make your day celebrated at our beautiful venue special. We allow organisers to arrange their own unique occasion, or we are happy to discuss arrangements with you, and furnish you with contacts to assist you to arrange the flexible solution that fits within your budget.
