The Old Vicarage Hotel is one of the few Grade II listed buildings in Bridgwater. We offer comfortable accommodation perfect for the many attractions that Somerset and the West Country has to offer.
All of our rooms have a Flat Screen LCD TV, adjustable heating, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, workspace and Wi-Fi. They have all been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout and provide a lovely, comfortable base to explore the area further.
The restaurant offers a wide range of dishes lovingly prepared by our Chef, Nick Barlow. Using locally sourced produce (many herb and fruits are grown in the garden!!) our chef aims to provide what is a rarity in restaurant these days – good, fresh food that is cooked to order and a decent sized portion. Our chef describes his food as modern British with seasonal dishes offered all year round. With a specially selected wine list the restaurant runs alongside a fully stocked bar serving quality beers and cider, spirits, wines and soft drinks.
Situated in the town centre with a South facing patio and garden we are Bridgwater's best kept secret. With seating for alfresco dining or just sitting with a drink and watching the world go by, The garden is open whenever the weather allows. Just off of the M5 at Junction 24, the hotel is close to many attractions such as Cheddar Gorge, Quantock Hills, Glastonbury, Wells, Wookey Hole and Bristol the hotel is in a perfect location for visits to the area.
